My husband and I took the Dave Ramsey money management course about a year ago. Dave strongly recommended taking out long term care insurance at age 60. Since we were both 73, we didn’t think that we could probably afford it. Joel Ferris was recommended to us. Since we live in Montana, our contact was by phone and on the computer. He spent time researching polices for us and found one that we could afford and met our needs. He was always very helpful and answered our questions in a timely fashion. We were so pleased with our experience that we have given his name to friends and relatives who have also contacted him.

When it turned out that neither of us could qualify for long term care insurance due to pre-existing conditions, Joel proposed an alternative, Critical Cash Insurance. He bent over backwards to help us, and ended up making several trips to our house. We are very appreciative, and were extremely impressed with his professionalism and willingness to help.

We had only limited knowledge about these plans and both tend to be fairly analytical. Due to medical history, one of us did not qualify for a traditional LTCI plan. Joel was familiar with an alternative product called Critical Cash. This proved to be an effective alternative for us. Joel’s help with all of this resulted in our selection of a traditional LTCI plan for one and a Critical Cash plan for another, both underwritten by solid companies.

Joel Ferris was quick to respond to my inquiry, and prompt and professional in his correspondence. I thought he did a thorough and excellent job as a Dave Ramsey ELP. I would recommend him to anyone.
